Death Certificate states Cardiac Disease and General Debility in the County Lunatic Asylum at Stafford on 11th April 1894 Buried at Leek Cemetery 15th April 1894. Burial Register Number 8598; Grave Number 8275.

Annie Swarbrook who did not appear, was summoned for assaulting Mary Holder, housekeeper to Mr Taylor, landlord of the Welcome Tavern, Nottingham Road, on the 17th instant - The defendant had been drinking in the house and because the complainent would not lend her a jug to take some drink away in, she threw a glass in her glass. A fine of 10 shillings and costs was imposed in default 14 days. She appeared in the census  in 1901 in RG13/2622/80 30 Gladstone Street, Leek, Dau, Unm, 28, Silk Winder, Leek, Staffs.. She was a Silk Winder.  On the 1891 Census, Sarah Ann is listed as Annie.

Although Lucy a Domestic Servant lived in Leek in 1907, she gave birth to a baby daughter named Gladys in Chorlton, Lancs in Septeber 1907, the child subsequently died aged 1 month at  29 Rank Street Macclesfield.

He appeared in the census  in 1901 in RG13/2622/80 30 Gladstone Street, Leek, Son, Unm, 16, Silk Dyer, Leek, Staffs..  James appeared in the census  in 1911 in Hse 3, Crt 6, West St, Leek, Head, Married, 26, Silk Tie Maker, born Leek.. He served in the military in 1914–1918 in WW1.

He died in 1960 at the age of 76 in Leek, STS.  According to the 1911 Census forms - the number of rooms in the dwelling or apartment occupied by this family was 4; counting the kitchen as a room, but not the scullery, landing, lobby, closet or bathroom. They had been married for 3 years
